sport coaching

success was a major point with coach carters coaching style. if there was no great success there was no point for the autocratic coaching style, as the players would not bother putting up with the hard coaching sessions, the suicides, the push ups, and critical coach carter.

respect was also another major aspect put across in the movie, coach carter stated that in order to gain respect they needed to give some respect. if this did not work with the players, coach carter would have given up on his team, and would have left them with out a victory.

Autocratic – strict, make all decisions, in total control. Democratic – make decisions with players, more relaxed environment. Laisse faire – relaxed, do not care too much. autocratic style coaching would be used in year seven sport on a tuesday afternoon or if you were coaching a proper team like NRL etc democratic style coaching would be used if you were coaching or supervising a younger sporting team or a non serious group.laisse faire style would be used in a situation where   

• i believe that sport isnt all about winning, its about trying your best, having fun and keeping fit 
• kids should play in a good manner, play fair with each other and play by the rules 
• to keep their mental or emotional problems under control you should stay happy and positive with each child and treat them all equal.
